General Campsite Guidelines

The campsite rules are here to help make sure that all our visitors have a great time.

General Campsite Guidelines

  • No admission without a valid Ticket.
  • The Organisers reserve the right of admission.
  • Please remain vigilant to fire safety in order to help keep yourselves and other Festival-goers safe.
  • There is to be no vehicle movement within the Campsite over the weekend. Pitches are allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • We ask you to be considerate when pitching your tent – if you take up more than a reasonable amount of space for your group, you will be asked to re-pitch.
  • Generators are not permitted.
  • Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and you will be ejected without a refund.
  • Guests may be searched on entry to the event. If you are in possession of illegal substances, you may be arrested.
  • No sound systems will be permitted on site.
  • No animals are allowed on the Festival site, other than assistance dogs. If you require an assistance dog with you please inform us from [email protected] before the event.
  • In the event of needing assistance, medical care or otherwise, please contact any steward or member of campsite staff who can radio for assistance.
  • Campers will be issued with special wristbands allowing access to the Campsite. Please ensure your party wear them at all times.
  • Strictly no fire/Chinese lanterns or fireworks are allowed on site.
  • Please ensure your party know the location of key facilities, including First Aid, and how to gain help in the event of an emergency. Please remain vigilant to fire safety in order to help keep yourselves and other Festival-goers safe.

Cooking food and alcohol

  • Open fires and BBQs are not permitted.
  • Please note: If we experience hot, dry weather in the lead up to the Festival – there may be restrictions on cooking activity in the Campsites. If this is the case, we will be communicating to all ticket-purchasers in advance.
  • Campers wishing to bring stoves should only bring purpose-built gas stoves with small gas bottles (2.2kg). No spare bottles are to be brought. These stoves can only be used for cooking in a designated area of the Campsite, and should not be used inside individual tents. No other LPG should be on site.
  • If you are camping, you are allowed to bring in your own alcohol (to be consumed in the Campsite) up to a reasonable amount per person (e.g. 1 case of beer/lager/cider or up to 1 litre of decanted spirits). You will be asked to leave excess quantities outside the event.
  • Alcohol cannot be brought into The Big Feastival from the Campsites. There are fully licensed bars available for you in the Festival.
  • You will not be allowed to bring in a glass of any kind. Broken glass is dangerous for children and for the animals that will be using the fields after the Festival. There will be no exceptions.
  • No water source should be deemed as drinking water unless it is specifically labelled as such. Please ensure to put any rubbish in the bins provided.
  • We have a No Naked Flame policy at the Festival and in the Campsite. There will be designated areas in the Campsite where you will be able to go to use small stoves to cook food.

 

Campervans and Caravans

  • For all those who have booked a campervan pitch, you will NOT require a parking pass as this is covered in the cost of your caravan ticket.
  • The allocated pitch size for campervans and caravans is 8m x 6m.
  • Sadly, we do not allow separate tents to be erected alongside your campervan/ motor homes. However, if you wish to erect an awning, this is possible. We kindly ask that you allow 2m of space between your own awning and your neighbours plot and that any awning fits within your 8m x 6m pitch size. Please note, all awning is erected at the discretion of the campsite manager, and you may be asked to remove it if it deemed obstructive to the surrounding pitches.
  • Due to uneven ground in some areas, please take precautions to ensure that your vehicle is securely stationed.
  • In the general campervan area, cars and campervans will be parked in a designated area and cannot be parked alongside tents.
  • Within the disabled campervan area, cars can be parked alongside your campervan so long as it fits within your designated pitch area. Please be aware that your car will need to be moved if it does not fit within your pitch area.
  • Sleeping in cars overnight is not permitted.
  • It is strongly recommended not to bring any large Winnebago or RV style vehicles as in the event of bad weather, we are unable to guarantee access for these vehicles to the Campsite.
  • For those with caravans and trailer tents, please note that towing vehicles must be removed from the Campsite and parked in the public car park.
  • Please be aware that no hookups are available for water within the Campsite. There are a limited number of electric hookups, which must be booked in advance when you purchase your Campervan Pitch.
  • Estate cars, vans and any other vehicles not designed with in-built sleeping facilities will not be allowed access to the Campsite.
  • An average, reasonable sized vehicle will be permitted onto the site. Permission to accommodate your vehicle is entirely at the Event Organiser’s discretion.
  • Owners of campervans should bring sufficient gas bottles in the fitted cylinders on the vehicle only. No spare bottles should be brought on site.

Pitching your tent

  • Make note of your location and key landmarks nearby (such as trees or signage) to help you remember how to find your tent. You could also try decorating your tent with flags. Things can look very different at night when other tents have moved and other people have arrived and set up so take your time familiarising yourself with your location.
  • Get to know your neighbours, then you can keep an eye on each other’s setups.
  • Do not leave valuables on show and split your money into various hiding places when you’re in or around your tent. Please note: all of our caterers and bars will accept contactless payment on site this year so you don’t need to carry large sums of money. Don’t leave anything valuable in your tent during the day when you are not there.

Arriving on Thursday

  • Beat the crowds arriving on Friday by grabbing one of our limited Thursday Early Entry Tickets. These tickets allow you to secure your pitch and settle in before all the festival fun starts on Friday! There will also be some delicious food offerings available from our campsite hub.
  • Please note, there will be no access to the Festival on Thursday night. The Arena will open on Friday at 11am. There will also be no entertainment or alcohol to purchase.

Leave no trace

  • Finally, please help us to once again to leave no trace on the farm by making sure to tidy up your camping area before you leave 💚
